Colours, shapes and crazy hypercars from Geneva Motor Show

Get ready to enter one of the largest car show in the world! The 86th edition of the Geneva Motor Show, held from 3 to 13 March 2016, has welcomed 687 000 visitors.

Exterior/Interior shapes

Here are some few details of the Volvo Concept 26, which explore a new 'driving' experience. During the 26 minutes of your (average) daily shuttle to your workplace, the autonomous driver allows you to relax and enjoy the luxury interior.

The Jaguar stand offers the possibilty to discover the New F-PACE and its chassis.

Hypercars

One of the biggest announcement was certainly the revealing of new Bugatti Chiron. In Greek mythology, Chiron was held to be the superlative centaur amongst his brethren.

Superlative, this hypercar is :

• 8.0L W16 engine of 1500 hp

• 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds

• 0 to 300 km/h in 13.6 seconds

• 420 km/h top speed

• 1995 kilos

• 2.4 millions euros (!)

Have you noticed the "C" shape circling the doors?

But the Chiron has a serious direct competitor: the Koenigsegg Regera which associates a petrol engine and 3 electrics ones for crazy performances:

• 5.0L 1160 hp V8 engine + 3 electric ones = 1500 hp

• 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds

• 0 to 300 km/h in 10.9 seconds

• 400 km/h top speed (estimated in 20 seconds)

• 1590 kilos

• 1.7 million euros (!)

405 kilos lighter than the Bugatti, it seems the Regera offers better performances on the long run accelerations... Wait and see
